A specially designed collection of two type of Honey. The Al Sidr Honey (250gm) and Al Somer Honey (250gm), wrapped in traditional hand-woven Omani pouch. Both these are naturally sourced from the mountainous terrains rich in wild trees and flowers. These deep valleys provide to ideal grounds for breeding bees and harvesting honey.
- Al Sidr Honey – The Omani Sidr honey, comes from the Sidr trees that are found in the coastal, desert, semi-desert terrains of Oman. It’s monofloral honey because of its distinctive flavor. It’s a thick in texture and with rich, buttery sweet taste. Unlike other honey’s, the Sidr Honey is light golden color which darkens and turn to reddish overtime. The aromatic essence of Sidr trees is what give the honey its exquisite taste. Honey is great source of energy and helps to boast body immunity. Its high content of anti-oxidants and a high proportion of metals in its flowers such as Iron, Calcium, Potassium, Magnesium and many more, provide overall physical and mental health benefits. - Al Somer Honey – The Omani Al Somer Honey, otherwise also called (the Acacia Toryilis Honey) comes from the blossoms of the Acacia Toryilis trees that are found in the Al Hajar Mountains in northern parts of Oman. The honey has a distinct flavor and wonderful taste. Its rich in texture and is of dark color close to almost black color. Al Somer Honey is full of natural minerals and anti-oxidants and is has many physical and mental health benefits. It helps to retain strength and energy in the body. The anti-bacterial properties help to reduce the risk of infection. Hence it widely used to treat throat and chest congestions. It helps to also strengthen the bones due to the presence of calcium and essential vitamins. Size – 250gms
